Who are Gateway Homes Ltd?

Gateway Homes Ltd was set up in 2002 in Leeds. We quickly established ourselves as market leaders in a highly competitive house buying industry. In 2004 we became one of the first companies to offer the now popular ‘Sale and Rent Back’ option.

Since 2002 we have helped hundreds of satisfied homeowners release the cash tied up in their homes. We have expanded rapidly over the last few years, especially during the ‘credit crunch’ period where a lot of our competitors ceased trading, however we have recruited more staff to meet demand. We have since recognised that to meet demand further and to increase our coverage across the UK we needed to franchise the business. This has enabled us to continue to grow and offer customers a more personalised service.

We aim to remain the market leader in this highly competitive sector and to continue our growth expansion across the UK, but without jeopardising our core values, these include remaining customer focused and understanding the customer’s needs, we aim to remain financially robust with strong Bank funding and high levels of cash capital.

We support the FSA’s decision to regulate the Sale and Rent Back sector and we plan on co operating entirely to make sure that the customer’s wellbeing is maintained.
